Friends. Infinite Story on Twinning

This film introduces with Rezekne municipality, the story of how it has established twinning relationships with several municipalities in the European Union and abroad. The film is made in the framework of the project “Neighbors: Enlarging Twinning Community” and is funded with the support of the European Commission.

European Festival in Mayenne (France)

A delegation of 30 people from Rezekne municipality participated in European festival in Mayenne (France) in 2011. There were more than 800 participants from 12 different EU countries. They spent 2 days celebrating and taking part in sport competitions and culture activities. The festival was held in the framework of the programme “Europe for Citizens”.
